About the team

The Enterprise Data & AI (EDAI) Team, led by the FIS Chief Data & AI Officer (CDAO), is focused on delivering cutting-edge Data, AI, and Machine Learning platforms and models.

The group is organized into four engineering Towers: Data Ingestion, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. These are supported by three enabling Towers: Strategy & Operations, Customer Success, and Data Ops / Compliance. Based between the US, UK, and India, the team is 250 strong and committed to delivering value for FIS through data and AI.

What you will be doing

You will play a pivotal role in the success of the new enterprise Data and AI platform developed by the EDAI team. This platform, built with industry-leading technology and the highest security standards, will become the enterprise's new benchmark – allowing FIS to anonymize and commercialize data to drive value.

As a member of the Customer Success Tower within the Enterprise Data & AI (EDAI) Team, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures and solutions. You will collaborate with the engineering towers to ensure the platform meets business needs and adheres to best practices in data management and AI/ML deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting Customer Solutions – Design and implement tailored data solutions for customers, ensuring they meet business requirements and leverage the capabilities of the enterprise Data and AI platform.

  • Driving Enterprise Solutions  - Design solutions that scale and serve the needs of multiple products and the enterprise rather than bespoke solutions.

  • Educating Customers – Provide education and guidance to customers on platform architecture, best practices, and effective use of data and AI technologies.

  • Thought Leadership – Offer thought leadership on data solutions architecture, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations, and sharing insights with customers and internal teams.

  • Technical Leadership – Provide technical guidance and leadership ensuring best practices in data engineering, AI/ML model deployment, and cloud infrastructure management.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Work closely with business stakeholders, delivery managers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform capabilities and customer solutions.

What you bring

  • At least 12 years of IT Architect experience

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures and AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with solid business acumen, including strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with delivery teams and senior stakeholders across technical and business functions at FIS.

  • In-depth knowledge of FIS (or similar competitor) products, services, and business operations practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $170,550.00 - $286,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
