The role of the Data Analyst is for individuals passionate about identifying and delivering the right Data solution for each client. Our Data Consultants have a keen Data orientation with an understanding of how technology can be effectively applied to meet a variety of Business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that data is accurately mapped from its origin through its transformation and utilization in various business processes.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data catalog, curate end-to-end data lineage using specialized tools, and support data quality management.
• Identify and rectify data issues to ensure compliance with data governance standards
• Facilitate clear communication between technical and business stakeholders regarding data flows and transformations.
• Interview over SMEs, IT Application Owners and Data Architects to understand and capture their application's underlying Data Models and ETL Workflows.
• Create system flow diagrams.
• Work with the Scanning Team to configure different types of metadata scanners and collect/ ingest metadata from various source applications into ASG Rochade and BeCubic
• Work with Stitching Team to link and generate lineage in ASG Rochade and BeCubic based on the various data objects ingested by scanners

Qualifications

• Experience in data lineage packages, ASG Rochade and Becubic experience preferred but another lineage tool acceptable would be acceptable.
• A strong foundation in data governance principles
• Strong SQL skills. Ability to write and run queries
• Understanding of Java and Mainframe
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
• Attention to detail

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $57,798 to $109,700. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
