The role involves designing and optimizing memory circuits, creating schematics, verifying functionality, and collaborating with layout teams and PE for silicon debug.
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Support the development of new memory products through the design and optimization of memory circuits (such as pitched cells, datapath, pumps & regulators, I/O, Controller). Apply understanding design specification at the chip level and breakdown of functions into circuit sub components, in the analog and/or digital domain. Create schematic description of circuit functions at the schematic level or behavioral level, using industry available capture tools, such as Cadence Composer and the Verilog behavioral language. Verify the circuit functionality in the analog and/or logic domain, using industry available simulators such as Hspice, and Hsim for the electrical analysis and NC-Verilog for the digital design verification. Provide design documentation (schematic, behavioral, simulation) at the circuit level and chip level, including lesson learned update. Provide clear directions and documentation, and interact with layout team to ensure that the block layout is fully compliant with designer's expectations in the terms of performances and cooperate with PE for silicon debug and verification. Support new circuit conception and design; develop and maintain specifications and provide advice on planning resources and tool requirements; and undertake research to help develop leading edge circuits and conceive new memory architectures.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a Design Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Analog integrated circuit design and validation;
2. Digital circuit design and validation;
3. Post silicon test and validation;
4. Semiconductor device physics.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $175,967.00 - $246,000 . For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
