Here is what you need to know about the job:

We are seeking a Senior Designer – Womenswear to join our Private Label Apparel team, supporting the design and development of contemporary collections across key customer accounts. This role will lead assigned categories from concept through execution, translating trend insight and customer needs into cohesive, market-relevant product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of assigned Womenswear categories, driving seasonal direction from concept through final production.
  • Conduct trend research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and assortment development.
  • Develop silhouettes, fabrication direction, color palettes, and product details aligned with customer expectations.
  • Prepare and present seasonal concepts, collections, and design strategies in internal and customer-facing meetings.
  • Partner closely with merchandising, development, and production teams to ensure strong execution and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design vision and business goals.
  • Maintain design timelines and key milestones across assigned programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners to support quality and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 6–10 years of Womenswear design experience.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and product development across multiple categories.
  • Experience working within private label or customer-driven retail environments preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to participate in customer-facing meetings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience.
