The Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Director to ensure products and experiences are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. In addition to communicating the company's creative vision to design teams and stakeholders, you'll be responsible for supervising the entire design process and all-important technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish artistic strategy, budgets and schedules for key project design
  • Oversee design projects, from start to finish, and monitoring team to ensure they adhere to the budget and timeline constraints
  • Ensure that all of the organization’s creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand messaging
  • Motivate and influence design team to always attain excellence in performance by providing key ideas, methods and brand positioning
  • Pitch creative ideas that align with overall company vision and communicate project outline in the same manner to members of the design team
  • Create storyboards and mockups for visualization of completed projects
  •  Stay current and up-to-date with current design trends, techniques and processes; seek out and recommend new standard methodologies
  • Work cross functionally to analyze market research to create more effective designs and ensure projects are profitable

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial or senior-level design experience on an in-house or agency team
  • Strong creativity skills and the vision to turn briefs into creative projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic design, CAD tools and various web related technologies
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple projects and various digital assets at one time
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to resolve complex design and communication issues
