We are looking to hire a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer. The group is responsible for FX trading and related services. Someone who can quickly turn around PoCs and solve technical issues in addition to building pipelines is needed. AI tooling experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Closely working with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX engineering.

  • Design, development and support of trading venue.

  • Ongoing support and development of cloud services

  • Develop automated processes to prevent, identify, and fix problems that impact service availabilityIdentify and deliver improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, & reliability.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of total experience minimum, with at least 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering or similar role

  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large scale applications

  • Experience with Linux, gradle/maven

  • Build automation (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Pipelines)

  • Release automation

  • Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet/Chef)

  • Monitoring, logging, reporting tools (e.g. Grafana, Datadog, ELK etc)

  • Testing automation

  • Cloud compute deployment (e.g. AWS, Azure)

  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective, and professional manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and self-directed, able to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to completion

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $125,900 - $209,900.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG’s Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
