Job Summary

AllCloud is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The primary role of the Senior DevOps Engineer is to design and deploy complex cloud environments for customers, utilizing innovative automation tools and cutting-edge technologies. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving the AWS cloud architecture, supporting infrastructure monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting issues, and developing the required automation for our customers.

The DevOps Engineers at AllCloud work with the latest cutting-edge technologies, and these are some of the technology stacks that we perfect daily for our customers: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Lambda, Python, Go, AI/ML, Big data, IoT, and much more, while playing 8-Ball and Nintendo Switch.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a tailor-made architecture
• Managing multiple customer environments, working around industry best practices.
• Acting as a trusted advisor for our customers 
• Deployment of advanced services on the cloud
• Implement automation solutions
• Maintain a feedback loop with the company’s customers to ensure deliveries are following the customer’s needs and expectations
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues
• Set up large-scale monitoring and logging solutions

Summary of Experience

• 2+ years of Experience with the AWS cloud provider
• 3+ years of professional IT experience (especially with strong Linux Networking)
• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Experience with Security Products (Firewall, Web Gateways, Proxies)
• Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, Docker, etc.) 
• Scripting abilities in at least two of the following: Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell
• Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking
• Ability to learn various technologies and topics
• Strong foundations with Git and gitflow methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, CircleCI, CodePipeline)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Serverless framework)
• Familiarity with the Agile methodology
