We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-impact platform engineering team. This role is critical to scaling and securing the infrastructure behind many of FOX's consumer-facing applications, including identity, API management, and web environments. You will be the go-to expert for Amazon EKS and play a key role in building out our GitOps workflows using ArgoCD. If you thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and can confidently support high-stakes deployments (like the Super Bowl), we want to hear from you.

This role also partners closely with teams using Kafka, Databricks, and other distributed systems, so a strong understanding of scalable cloud architectures is key.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and evolve our Kubernetes infrastructure, with a heavy focus on Amazon EKS

  • Design and implement GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD

  • Support production operations, including on-call responsibilities (on a rotation, especially during major live events)

  • Collaborate with API teams (India Tech team), identity services, and web app engineers

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring across cloud environments

  • Drive infrastructure as code and self-service capabilities across the platform

  • Ensure high reliability and performance of systems during large-scale events

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Deep expertise in Amazon EKS, including architecture, scaling, and security best practices

  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows

  • Strong background in managing production Kubernetes environments

  • Proficient in Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure, high-stakes environments

  • Experience supporting CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across remote teams and time zones

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Familiarity with Kafka or Databricks

  • Exposure to high-traffic live event support or media/broadcast environments
