The Global Marketing team at Digital Ventures’ approach is designed to achieve three main goals: business development, brand development and venture development. We execute against these goals via a number of strategic activities including global and regional partnerships (World Economic Forum, Startup Grind, Techweek, Business Insider, TOA, etc.), owned and co-hosted events, PR/comms, SATT, content and thought leadership (across owned, earned and paid channels).
As a small team with a global reach, we require a strategic thinker who is able to connect the dots and keep us on track with various deadlines and deliverables. The culture at DV is incredibly fast-paced and this person would have the opportunity to learn a great deal from the wide spectrum of projects and sheer amount of access being in a global team allotts.
The team has doubled in size over the past year, necessitating the continued implementation of new process and procedures. As this is a fluid process, We encourage all teammates to present and employ new ideas, processes and platforms. If you see an area that could benefit from more structure or an entirely new process/solution altogether-- we are always open to pivot if it means the team/ project will become more successful as a result.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience managing small to medium-sized digital projects
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple external or internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment that changes daily
- An amazing overall communicator with great writing and presentation skills
- Strong independent leader and decision maker with proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of project management tools including Base-camp, Google Docs, Smart Sheets or Microsoft suite.
- Experience working with a CRM, SoMe management (hubspot, hootsuite, sprinklr), Google Analytics and related technologies
- Examples of continued process improvement to internal/external projects.
- Pluses include marketing experience, Marketing Automation experience, editorial and content skills, and a design or web development background
- Can demonstrate excellent negotiation skills (especially contract negotiations) with vendors, clients and partners
