The Senior Director, Account Management will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client relationships within our Broadridge Asset Management Solutions business. You will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in helping clients achieve their business goals through the use of Broadridge’s suite of products and services. The individual in this role will need to have strong presentation and influencing skills as well as a commercial mindset. You will partner closely with business leaders and key decision makers both internally and within our clients’ organizations to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors and key partners across all areas of the firm
- Monitor service delivery and health of account relationships, keep clients apprised of our capabilities and be point of escalation though frequent engagement and communications
- Facilitate periodic service review meetings to discuss ongoing performance and engage in strategic discussions (key initiatives, new capabilities, etc.)
- Communicate changes in the business environment to management at all levels where appropriate
- Bring to bear the full breadth of Broadridge's products and expertise to create a distinct, competitive offering for our clients
- Prepare and execute annual client strategic plans; define goals and objectives, and map a route to achieving them.
Client Retention
- Grow Broadridge's market share and strengthen its positioning within each account
- Work with team members to understand and help manage client satisfaction
- Ensure all renewals are completed prior to expiration dates and participate in all necessary aspects of the renewal process
- Provide market intelligence, client direction, and feedback while ensuring that Broadridge maintains its product and service edge
- Conduct and coordinate negotiations on contract terms and conditions; work with business management, finance, and legal on preparation of all pricing proposals and legal documents
- Ensure Information Security activities are coordinated across the Client and within Broadridge
Origination of upsell and new business opportunities
- Meet with client’s senior management teams on a regular basis to understand their business initiatives and priorities; identify opportunities where Broadridge product and service capabilities are well aligned
- Maintain a constant awareness of current and planned development of Broadridge products and services
- Engage appropriate internal business segments and product sales teams
Required Experience:
- Deep understanding of the inner workings of front/middle office operations of Hedge Funds and Private Credit managers
- Minimum 10 years of buy side experience or account management experience
- Closing and contract negotiation skills
- Detailed knowledge of products including OMS, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance Data Warehouse, Pricing, Reference Data, Accounting, Reconciliation and Reporting, Managed Services
- Ability to take a consultative approach to problem solving with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel (20%).
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure environment.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $175,000.00- $195,000.00 USD.
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
