We're looking for a world-class Senior Director of eCommerce to own our online growth engine across DTC and Amazon. You'll set the strategy across our online channels, manage a high-performing team of growth marketers, and drive performance against ambitious revenue and efficiency targets. We expect you to be a player-coach, rolling up your sleeves to help execute the strategies you set alongside your team to drive stellar results. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is based in NYC (hybrid: Tues/Weds/Thurs in-office, Tribeca).

As our Senior Director of eCommerce, you'll:

  • Own the eCommerce P&L across DTC and Amazon, working closely with channel leads to build a sustainable, scalable growth engine within efficiency guardrails
  • Manage multimillion-dollar budgets across brand and performance media, with a goal of maximizing efficient spend
  • Build a thriving Amazon business - capturing demand, growing category share, and strengthening our Best Seller Rankings and category leadership position
  • Define and execute strategy across our growth marketing channels, including paid media, lifecycle and retention, web, influencer, affiliate, and emerging formats
  • Lead our retention and subscription efforts in partnership with channel leads, building strategies that strengthen cohort performance and maximize LTV
  • Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Operations, and Sales to ensure marketing campaigns and launches execute with excellence
  • Work with the Innovation team to incubate and launch new products on DTC, and translate consumer insights into action for future launches
  • Partner with Finance to develop a rigorous understanding of attribution and performance in service of revenue and ROAS goals
  • Build a culture of rapid experimentation and innovation, including identifying, testing, and scaling new channels, media formats, and AI-powered workflows
  • Lead and develop a best-in-class Growth Marketing team

Requirements
  • 6-8+ years of DTC/eCommerce growth marketing experience, spanning both acquisition and retention, with a strong grasp of how DTC functions as a launch platform, insight engine, and loyalty driver within a broader omnichannel business
  • Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar paid media budgets across multiple channels (Meta, TikTok, influencer, TV, and more), with an efficiency-first investment mindset
  • Experience building and scaling an Amazon business, including sponsored ads, DSP, and BSR optimization
  • Experience leading subscription programs, with a track record of building strong cohorts and maximizing LTV
  • Track record managing growth marketing agencies and holding them to high performance standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive data-driven experimentation and translate results into clear decisions and executive-level updates
  • 4+ years of people management experience
  • Strong project management skills with comfort leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the food, wellness, and CPG space

Magic Spoon intends to offer competitive base pay within the stated range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. To further compensate and recognize our employees for their work, our total compensation package includes equity and a robust benefits package. The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $190,000-$210,000.
