Senior Director, Global Obesity Commercial Supply Strategy, Planning and Assessment Lead

Responsible for leading the interface between commercial teams and supply chain, ensuring alignment in demand forecasting, supply planning, and strategic initiatives for Pfizer's obesity portfolio.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Commercial Supply Planning & Assessment Lead will serve as the primary interface between Pfizer's Commercial Obesity teams and Pharmaceutical Global Supply (PGS), owning the translation of commercial forecasts for Pfizer's obesity portfolio into a prioritized supply plan and together with PGS, ensuring long term strategic commercial supply of Pfizer's obesity portfolio.
This role is accountable for ensuring that evolving commercial forecasts by SKU and market are accurately reflected in PGS planning and decision-making processes. As the product progresses through late-stage development and early commercialization, this position plays a critical role in managing portfolio, product, dose level, and presentation complexity, supply risk, and cross-functional alignment to enable optimal patient and business outcomes. This will entail working across a broad cross-functional organization including Commercial, Supply, and Development colleagues.
The role requires an experienced leader with strong cross-functional credibility, broad understanding of Pharma Commercial Planning, Forecasting and Supply activities, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed global organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio-level commercial demand and supply integration
• In partnership with markets, finance, and PGS, own the end-to-end translation of portfolio commercial demand forecasts (including volume by SKU and market) into PGS supply plans, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across functions
• Collaborate with PGS to maintain up to date view of key supply timelines and milestones for decision-making and investment
• Identify potential internal and external risks to supply planning (in collaboration with PGS) for each product and support mitigation planning
• Serve as the single point of Commercial accountability for the Commercial-PGS interface for the obesity portfolio
• Represent Commercial demand and priorities within PGS planning forums, including S&OP / IBP and portfolio supply reviews
• Track allocation implementation plans over time, identifying concerns and delays when they arise
• Partner with Commercial colleagues to pressure test and manage forecast evolutions for SKU expansions portfolio (e.g., expansion with new devices / doses)
• Prepare clear, executive-ready materials that communicate progress, decisions, and risks ensuring senior Pfizer Commercial and PGS leaders are informed and engaged
Device and packaging development
• In partnership with Global, US, and International commercial platform and program leads and PGS/PharmSci, develop roadmap for device development for the injectables program
• Partner with commercial, PGS and supply chain partners on optimizing packaging for the injectables and orals program
Portfolio and supply strategy enablement
• Evaluate implications of early launch supply choices for rest of obesity portfolio (in partnership with other Supply & Demand Planning Leads for other obesity assets over time), managing critical interdependencies
Other commercial responsibilities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Commercial-PGS interface processes, governance, and tools
• Identify opportunities to improve demand visibility, assumption transparency, and decision-making speed across the planning ecosystem
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
• 12+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, commercial operations, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated deep experience and success working across Commercial and Supply / Manufacturing organizations
• Deep experience in working cross-functionally across commercial, manufacturing, R&D, Finance and analytics, and proven strength in influencing and leading across and cross-functional environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Experience supporting late-stage development, launch planning, or early lifecycle commercialization
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments and influence without authority
• Experience working in multiple functions (e.g., marketing, sales, analytics, manufacturing)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High energy level, curiosity, sense of urgency, and ability to succeed under pressure with poise, experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, high change agility

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. - Education : Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, science or engineering, or a quantitative discipline; advanced degree (Ph.D, MBA) preferred
