Job Description
The Senior Director, IT Functional Business Relationship Management serves as the primary partner between Inc. business functions and the Information Technology (IT) function. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) works with functional leadership and enterprise IT to align technology capabilities with functional priorities and enterprise objectives and is accountable for ensuring secure, scalable and efficient IT services while strengthening cyber compliance and enabling successful delivery of major technology initiatives.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The Senior Director, IT Functional Business Relationship Management serves as the primary partner between Inc. business functions and the Information Technology (IT) function. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) works with functional leadership and enterprise IT to align technology capabilities with functional priorities and enterprise objectives and is accountable for ensuring secure, scalable and efficient IT services while strengthening cyber compliance and enabling successful delivery of major technology initiatives.
The BRM is expected to deliver the following key outcomes, in strong partnership with BAE functions and IT:
- A business technology strategy and capabilities roadmap that aligns with functional priorities and enterprise objectives
- Effective stewardship of functional IT investments and budgets
- Effective utilization of IT shared services to meet functional priorities, including coordination and advocacy for timely issue resolution.
- Strong and trusted relationships with enterprise functional, IT and sector stakeholders, serving as a connector to align functional priorities with sector needs and enterprise technology capabilities.
- An enterprise mindset to bring the best capabilities of IT to the function in support of their strategic needs
- Enable successful delivery of major technology initiatives by removing barriers and driving alignment among IT, functional stakeholders, and sector BTOs.
- Adherence to CMMC Level 2+ cybersecurity standards with strong focus on continuous compliance across all areas within the function.
- Increased adoption of Inc.-level technology initiatives
- Improved customer agility, efficiency, innovation capabilities, and quality of products and services
- Business case tracking and value realization traceability
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as the strategic interface among functional leadership and enterprise IT, aligning technical solutions with functional goals and BAE objectives.
- Business Technology Strategy: Develop, articulate, and drive the business technology strategy and capabilities roadmap for Inc. enterprise functions.
- IT Investment Management: Provide accountability and oversight for functional IT investments, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, and value realization
- Program Delivery: Enable delivery of major technology initiatives through removing barriers and cultivating partnerships across IT, functional leadership, and sector stakeholders.
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure alignment with enterprise cybersecurity and compliance standards within Inc functions, working across all organizational boundaries.
- Change Ambassadorship: Partner with functional stakeholders to define value-focused outcomes of technology initiatives and serve as a change ambassador to drive adoption of technology solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with functional leaders and sector BTOs to identify synergies and standardize solutions aligned with enterprise requirements. Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive culture that enables the highest levels of partnership.
- Business Technology Vision: Communicate functional business technology vision, strategy, and capabilities roadmaps to the sectors and -IT organization.
- Solution Brokerage: Serve as broker to align functional technology needs with enterprise capabilities, coordinating with sector BTOs and the enterprise IT function where solutions span functions and sectors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize and shape technology demand based on evolving business needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong business acumen, strategic focus, enterprise initiatives, product management, financial acumen, collaboration, executive level communication
- Requires advanced conceptual thinking in complex and/or new situations
- Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex program, business area, sector or enterprise
- Senior Project/Program team member responsible for work flow which is varied in nature with situations frequently requiring new solutions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's Degree with 15+ years of relevant management experience
- Adaptablity, discernment/judgment, negotation, influencing others and customer service
