About the Role 

The Senior Director, Marketing leads the B2B marketing function for Audience Engagement and is responsible for delivering commercial outcomes that grow revenue and influence for WildBrain’s digital Network. This role ensures our market positioning, industry presence, and Go-To-Market execution directly support business goals across Media Solutions, YouTube, and FAST partnerships.

This leader converts insights, product capabilities, and audience value into narratives and programs that:

  • increase advertiser demand
  • elevate WildBrain’s industry authority
  • strengthen partner confidence
  • improve pitch effectiveness and conversion

This is a senior strategic role requiring someone who can bring clarity to complexity, influence across a matrixed environment, and deliver business results with both strategic vision and hands on‑on execution.

Job Description

1. Drive B2B Marketing Strategy in Support of Growth

  • Own the B2B marketing strategy and roadmap to deliver revenue ‑connected outcomes: stronger awareness, elevated perception, and increased demand among advertisers, agencies, and platform partners.
  • Define differentiated positioning and value propositions that improve marketplace competitiveness and pitch win rates.
  • Translate complex data, product capabilities, and audience insights into simple, compelling commercial narratives that drive advantage for Sales.

2. Deliver High Impact Go-to-Market Programs

  • Lead GTM strategy for new product offerings, audience packages, tentpole programs, and category initiatives, ensuring each drives measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Work in conjunction with the Sales Development, Client Success and Partnerships to create a feedback loop from sellers and Network content partners, so that we increase content acquisition opportunities, deal velocity, meeting conversion, and partner engagement (decks, proof points, case studies, narratives).
  • Maximize commercial impact at industry moments (upfronts, agency roadshows, advertiser presentations), measured by new opportunities and increased partner commitments.

3. Strengthen Cross Functional Alignment and Efficiency

  • Partner closely with Media Solutions, YouTube, and FAST & AVOD teams to ensure unified positioning, frictionless collaboration, and consistent commercial storytelling aligned to business priorities. 
  • Work with MarCom to ensure alignment with corporate, investor, and brand level‑level messaging, ensuring a coherent story across all external touchpoints.
  • Build shared processes, tools, and calendars that increase execution efficiency and eliminate fragmentation across Sales, Marketing, Corporate, and Audience Engagement.

4. Build Industry Leadership and Market Influence

  • Deliver a thought leadership and content strategy that elevates WildBrain’s authority with advertisers and trade media, growing inbound interest and strengthening category leadership.
  • Produce white papers, POVs, and insight led storytelling that shape industry conversation and reinforce WildBrain’s distinctive market value.
  • Partner with PR & Comms to secure strategic speaking opportunities and visibility that enhance brand reputation and advertiser trust.

5. Measure What Matters & Demonstrate Impact

  • Define success metrics that clearly link marketing activity to commercial outcomes (awareness lift, funnel progression, opportunity creation, pitch effectiveness).
  • Use data and insights to refine messaging, prioritization, and Go To Market strategy.
  • Report learnings and recommendations to senior leadership with transparency and actionability.

Leadership Expectations

  • Serve as a senior leader and trusted strategic partner to the EVP, Audience Engagement, shaping the function’s future and accelerating the organisation’s ability to execute at scale. 
  • Influence effectively across teams without direct authority, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex, cross functional initiatives.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and outcome oriented execution across Sales, Media Solutions, Marketing, and Corporate functions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering B2B marketing strategies that directly support revenue growth within digital media, advertising, entertainment, platforms, or technology sectors. 
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including agencies, brands, and digital platforms.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and executive level storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving results in matrixed organisations.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
