Summary: The Vice President of Marketing has responsibility for growing market share and brand awareness across the country. She/He will lead the multi-functional marketing team (PR/Influencer marketing, visual merchandising, paid media ) to achieve this.

The role requires building collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners, including the Huda Beauty HQ Marketing Team based in Dubai, ensuring alignment between the regional and global brand strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy: devise the US marketing strategy based on the global strategy and elaborate concrete action plans across all marketing functions with regards to distribution, product launch support plans, pricing, etc.
  • Team management: frame, provide guidance and follow up all marketing functions (product & trade marketing, PR/Influencer marketing, visual merchandising, artistry/education)
  • PR & Influencers: drive US strategy to maximize brand visibility through PR and influencer marketing, based on the global strategy and considering all national market specificities. Work with PR & influencer team on concrete action plan. Track closely ROI to adjust strategy to rapidly changing landscape.
  • Education: frame and guide the education team to deliver meaningful product education to our own brand BA’s as well as education teams at our retail partners.
  • Media: elaborate and execute media plans for key launches and bestseller products.
  • Forecasting: optimize newness forecasting by providing detailed insight and forecasting benchmarks via knowledge of retail performance, past product performance, market data, competitor ranking and consumer insights.
  • Visual Merchandising: frame and guide the Visual Merchandising team in the development and implementation of local initiatives such as new counter design, counter updates for launches or any retailers’ animation sites, window displays, counter decoration, display units, etc.
  • Trade: understand trade customers’ requirements to maximize brand inclusion in their activities, and work with commercial team to ensure that exclusives and promotional offers are in place to drive sales at key trading periods.
  • Analysis: continuously keep track and analyze the ROI on local initiatives and launches and build following decisions according to insights to grow the business.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Marketing team (based in Dubai) and feedback local product, consumer and competitive insights to aid global product and campaign development.
  • Ensure consistency of brand standards across all marketing platforms
  • Ensure that all launches and activities are managed within the budget and targeted to achieve measurable ROI

Requirements
  • 12+ years of beauty marketing experience. US market & make-up experience is a must with other international markets being a plus
  • Proven success in building brands and driving market share growth.
  • Proven success in building brand awareness and love through organic beauty influencer marketing and impactful media plans
  • Entrepreneur, kind, charismatic, team worker, passionate and driven personality with excellent communication and presentation skills and a strong commercial acumen
  • Can roll-up sleeves and work in a high-speed environment
  • Resourceful and generous with their dedication, passion and energy
  • Self-starter and positive spirit with great ability to influence and negotiate
  • Ability to multitask, work at pace and with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Extremely high degree of attention to detail and organization

The pay range for this role is $170k-$240k. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidates relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
