We’re seeking a future team member for the role of People Analytics Leader to join our People Team
organization. This role is located in New York City. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Design and implement advanced data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to deliver actionable insights on workforce trends, employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Utilize predictive and prescriptive analytics to forecast talent needs, attrition risks, and workforce productivity.
  • Partner across People Team, Finance, Engineering, Product, and business leaders to translate data insights into actionable workforce strategies and drive scenario planning and workforce simulations.
  • Lead efforts to enhance data governance, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve workforce planning processes, democratize data access, and integrate data/insights as a product.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives across multiple functions on people analytics and workforce planning.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within People Team and across the organization, enabling leaders to leverage analytics in decision-making.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing People Analytics team.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in people analytics, workforce design, and AI integration.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Proven experience as a strategic data and analytics leader with a track record of leading data scientists and analytics teams.
  • Strong product mindset with experience building or operating within a tiered service model and end-to-end data stack.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving AI integration to enhance data democratization and insights delivery.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and experienced in partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including People Team, Finance, Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Prior experience operating within a platform model preferred.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
