GEICO is looking for a customer-centric, dynamic leader with extensive P&L oversight, go to market planning, creative stewardship, and customer insights experience to join GEICO as a Sr. Director, Product Marketing. You will set the Marketing ambition for designated lines of business, and drive the organization in establishing the best methods, tools, and ways of working that deliver on that ambition. As part of our Integrated Marketing flywheel model, you will collaborate with Marketing practice leads to create impactful, industry leading, and business driving initiatives, while ensuring a cohesive narrative across all customer touchpoints.
Our department’s hybrid model is 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility. Corporate offices are in Chevy Chase, MD and Manhattan, NY.

Critical Cross-Functional Partners: Product & Pricing Management, Marketing Analytics, Finance, Creative, Media and Sports Marketing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business & Customer Intelligence
Analyze untapped customer opportunities and product/service white space, to identify new business and profit growth areas, as well as opportunities to grow brand favorability
Lead the creation of short and long-range business plans, setting objectives, mapping out the unit economics, determining key initiatives, and identifying KPIs grounded in consumer insights
Maintain an in-depth understanding of business growth drivers, risk factors, and data trends related to customer acquisition, retention and cross-sell
Identify territories and moments rooted in clear insights for media selection and creative development
Produce quarterly brand business reviews highlighting actionable insights that Marketing practice leaders can use to enhance future work and improve business results going forward
Go to Market Planning
Collaborate with Finance and PPM stakeholders to align on LOB goals and monitor progress against those goals
Partner with Marketing Finance to build LOB budgets and investment allocations across customer segments and distribution channels
Set the strategic agenda that will keep the cross-functional Marketing department focused on the business and customer priorities
Partner with COE specialists across sponsorship, media, creative, analytics, influencer, entertainment, corp comms, and customer journey marketing
Deliver clear customer-first connected journeys outlining what to communicate, setting the actions we want the customer to take, and driving cohesion in the Marketing plan for optimal business outcomes
Resource Management
Develop and maintain relationships with all Marketing practice leads to ensure alignment in overall planning and successful execution
In partnership with Sponsorships, Media, and Creative, determine how to invest the LOB’s annual marketing budget to build industry leading Marketing plans across paid, earned, owned, and shared customer touchpoints
Partner with our Culture Marketing group and the DEI COE to ensure inclusion throughout all Marketing initiatives
Team Leadership
Grow and develop a high performing team of marketers
Steward a cross functional team of direct and indirect reports including a brand manager, advertising strategist, performance marketing specialist, retention marketing specialist and a measurement analyst

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience in brand marketing preferably with a Fortune 500 company
Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred

Ability to drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality
Comfortable producing and overseeing a high volume of work
Experience in transformational organizations providing clear analysis of future opportunities and guidance on how to act now
Significant experience in developing presentations for audiences at all levels
Experience in evaluating creative concepts and assets based on strategic alignment and business impact
Strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and executive leaders
Well versed in gathering data and developing qualitative insights to develop strategic plans
Demonstrated success in writing clear briefs that inspire exceptional work

Annual Salary
$195,000.00 - $315,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
