Your Impact on our Mission
As a Senior Engineering Manager for the Patient Platform team, you will manage and lead multiple platform teams supporting our Patient-facing and broader engineering organization. Your leadership of this team will result in us building platforms that enable product engineering teams to deliver quickly, safely, and efficiently. Your dedication to building a culture of transparency, inclusion, and support will help ensure that our engineering is always evolving and growing. Your ability to combine technical capabilities, digging into details to unblock teams and steer through complex engineering tradeoffs, with business knowledge and context is crucial for the success of Zocdoc.

Your day to day is…
- Providing technical guidance to the team to help maximize the impact the platforms have on our business
- Defining the team roadmap and supervising its execution. You will connect and coordinate business initiatives, external and internal team priorities.
- Establishing well-defined critical metrics and motivate and manage the team to achieve goals
- Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers and managers to deliver a robust platform that impacts our users
You’ll be successful in this role if you have…
- 10+ years of experience building and shipping software
- 5+ years of experience leading, growing, and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience working on high-impact internal platforms
- Experience working with metrics-oriented teams, setting measurable goals, and hitting them
- Solid communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build consensus with engineers at all levels

Zocdoc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. Certain positions are also eligible for variable pay and/or equity; your recruiter will discuss the full compensation package details.
NYC Base Salary Range
$225,000—$280,000 USD
