We're looking for a seasoned Senior Engineering Producer to lead and drive the success of our technical teams, including Engine, Tools, and Build. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our technical production, ensuring our engineering efforts are efficient, well-supported, and aligned with our creative goals.

You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, design, and production to manage deliverables, shape team workflows, and protect time for innovation. If you're passionate about games, love turning complexity into clarity, and thrive in a collaborative, player-focused environment, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Resourcing

    • Drive end-to-end planning and execution of engineering tasks and cross-disciplinary technical projects across multiple timelines and priorities.

    • Collaborate with engineering leads to assess team capacity, staffing needs, and long-term resource planning.

    • Use automation and tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Jira, scripts) to streamline workflows, reporting, and visibility across projects.

    • Proactively identify blockers or risk areas; coordinate adjustments to keep momentum and quality on track.

  • Planning & Alignment

    • Partner with leadership and engineering to build and maintain roadmaps, staffing strategies, and long-term technical goals.

    • Help break down future project needs into achievable engineering scopes, while highlighting dependencies across disciplines.

    • Establish and refine frameworks and production processes that support technical innovation, sustainable workflows, and our studio’s creative signature.

  • Communication & Team Support

    • Advocate for the engineering team’s needs by offering practical, scalable solutions that balance scope, innovation, and team health.

    • Represent engineering perspectives clearly in cross-functional planning meetings and reviews.

    • Foster positive collaboration between engineering, design, production, support, and external partners.

    • Support continuous improvement via team retrospectives and regular feedback loops.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience & Technical Skills

    • 5+ years in technical production or engineering project management in games or software (live ops or engine team experience preferred).

    • Deep understanding of game development workflows, particularly engineering pipelines and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

    • Proven success driving complex technical initiatives from planning through delivery.

    • Advanced skills in Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, AppScript) and Jira (workflow design, sprint planning, task prioritization).

    • Strong passion for technology and the game development process.

    • Technical game development experience is a plus.

  • Collaboration & Communication

    • Excellent verbal and written communication - ability to clearly and efficiently articulate technical needs and translate plans into actionable tasks.

    • Trusted relationship-builder who can navigate the needs of technical and creative teams.

    • Skilled at bringing structure to ambiguity, while adapting plans to new information and shifting priorities.

  • Problem Solving & Adaptability

    • Solutions-oriented and proactive; able to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

    • Committed to supporting a culture of learning, openness, and respect.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in mobile, free-to-play, or live social game production.

  • Mandarin speaking proficiency

  • A background in software development, technical game development, or a related degree.

  • Active player of Sky: Children of the Light.
