Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced events professional to join our corporate communications team as a Senior Events Manager. You’ll help support strategic brand activations and client experiences that inform and inspire globally.

The Senior Manager will orchestrate dentsu’s global presence and overall logistics management, development and activation of the network’s event programs, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to help achieve dentsu’s overall growth plans and communications goals.

You will report to: Associate Director/SVP

You Will:

  • Support and execute end-to-end brand activations, client experiences, lead-generation programs and tentpole industry events, including in-person, virtual and hybrid events
  • Plan multiple hybrid and in-person events and conferences, including: venue sourcing, contracting, budget, site selection, online registration, all digital and print materials, transportation, accommodation, communications, activities, catering, tech and AV, content guidance and speaker logistics
  • Support, track and oversee the events budget.
  • Negotiate and oversee the delivery of contracts, administrate invoices and budget tracking
  • Manage events calendars and global events email traffic
  • Evolve our calendar of events to meet the priorities of a rapid-growth organization 
  • Partner with our strategy, integrated clients, growth marketing, solutions teams, practice areas and agency brands to achieve growth
  • Support communications team with leadership programs
  • Provide production oversight as needed on various tools, assets, materials.
  • Flexible and willing to put in long hours and travel to domestic and international events

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing small to large-scale corporate events
  • Knowledge of the role of sponsorship, experiential marketing, and live events as part of the marketing mix, and the benefits of live events as a communications channel
  • Skills in sponsorship and live event marketing strategy, negotiation, and execution
  • Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility for projects

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
