NYC based Experiential Marketing Agency is seeking the perfect fit for our team. We are a fast-paced, creatively led, high-end experiential marketing firm with clients in the spirits, fashion, film and luxury industries.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Experiential Designer to join our team on a freelance basis, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time leadership role if the fit is right. This person will bring a refined design sensibility, hands-on technical expertise, and a passion for working with luxury brands to craft environments that captivate and inspire.
As a senior creative, you’ll lead projects from development through execution, collaborating closely with production, strategy, and client service teams. You’ll bring big ideas to the table, set the creative direction, and ensure top-tier execution at every touchpoint.
YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience in experiential or environmental design, with 2+ years in a senior role
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, high-budget projects ($1M+)
- A strong portfolio of work for luxury, premium, or high-end lifestyle brands
- Proficiency in Rhino and V-Ray (required)
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, both visually and verbally
- Leadership experience in guiding teams and mentoring junior designers
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally and under tight deadlines
- Local to New York or Los Angeles, with availability for occasional in-person sessions and site visits
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop, and design immersive branded environments for luxury clients
- Own the creative process—from ideation to floor plans, renderings, technical documentation, and final execution
- Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders and clients with clarity and confidence
- Collaborate with production, account, and strategy teams to ensure seamless execution
- Attend site visits and walkthroughs to ensure design integrity and troubleshoot in real time
- Maintain clean, organized design files and documentation
- Stay on top of trends in luxury design, spatial innovation, and experiential storytelling
TOOLS & SKILLS
- Rhino and V-Ray (must-haves)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Google Workspace
- Unreal Engine, Blender, or hand sketching (nice to have)
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Design, Exhibition Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
