Senior Full stack Engineer - Ruby on Rails, Angular, NodeJS

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to partner with cross-functional teams and provide strategic consulting and full lifecycle product development. 

Experience: Senior 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership in the development and maintenance of complex web-based applications and enterprise systems (Ruby on Rails, Angular, NodeJS).
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent training/work history.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaborative team mindset.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience guiding development of observable systems with strong metrics and alerting.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Experience in the financial services or lending domain (preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills.

• Mentoring and coaching both clients and Modus teammates from the comfort of home.
• Deep diving into customer needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
• Exploring new tech and continuously learning—because software is always evolving!
• Sharing your knowledge and participating actively in the community.

• Overlap with at least 6 hours  US EDT hours daily is expected.
• Reliable high-speed internet is a must!
