What You’ll Do

You will lead the design and development of innovative, brand-elevating packaging and and in-store experiences across major US and global retailers. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director and Senior Director of Visual Merchandising, this role blends hands-on creative execution with cross-functional collaboration to bring new product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives to life.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Visual Merchandising

  • Design and execute 2D graphics for in-store environments, including endcaps, shelf trays, signage, seasonal displays, PDQs, and bespoke retail fixtures

  • Stay current on retail, beauty, and fashion trends to continuously elevate in-store storytelling and shopper engagement

Packaging Design

  • Design eye-catching, functional packaging for new products, PR boxes, collaborations, and updates to existing lines
  • Collaborate with Creative, Design, and Industrial Design teams on packaging systems and explorations
  • Prepare production-ready mechanical files, including dielines, materials, and color specifications
  • Oversee color accuracy and print quality across substrates and formats
  • Maintain consistency and scalability across packaging SKUs while ensuring regulatory compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, and packaging/print design, ideally in beauty or CPG
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating retail displays and large-format print production
  • Deep understanding of retail environments, fixture integration, and graphic storytelling
  • Experience working with retailer specifications, planograms, dielines, and production files
  • High taste level, exceptional attention to detail, and strong typographic skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume, in-office and remote environment
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Knowledge of packaging materials, print processes, and vendor handoff best practices
  • Experience with SketchUp or Rhino is a plus

Bonus

  • Experience designing for mass or specialty beauty retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, Target, Walmart or similar
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for pushing brand innovation

Why Bubble

You’ll have real ownership, real impact, and the opportunity to shape how a modern skincare brand shows up at mass retail, at scale. We move fast, collaborate closely, and care deeply about building something special together.
