As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to business leaders, particularly focusing on high growth and transforming Sales and Marketing organizations. 

You will leverage your expertise in talent management, organizational development, and strategic partnering to drive business outcomes and enhance workforce engagement. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment will be key to effectively supporting our GTM teams and facilitating their continuous improvement and success. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive level business leaders of the GTM and Marketing organizations to align people strategies with organizational goals, particularly in supporting the sales teams to achieve performance targets and drive revenue growth.

  • Coach & Advisor: Partners with leaders and managers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their leadership skills, improve employee performance, address challenges, and achieve organizational goals, by actively listening, asking insightful questions, setting clear goals, and providing actionable feedback to facilitate individual and team growth within Clearwater, acting as a strategic advisor and development partner to enhance overall organizational performance. 

  • Talent Management: Develop and implement talent strategies to attract top talent for Sales and Marketing roles and support the organization in skill development as they evolve into new markets. Understanding sales compensation and the ability to create incentive plans that drive increased revenue growth and motivate performance. 

  • Performance Management: Will assist with year-end performance management process, ensuring effective goal setting, ongoing feedback, and performance evaluations for employees to maximize engagement and productivity. 

  • Organizational Development: Assess organizational needs and implement development programs to enhance employee capabilities, including sales training, leadership development, and succession planning. 

  • Change Management: Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication throughout the sales organization.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize metrics and analytics to make informed decisions and contribute to business strategy, focusing on talent utilization, turnover rates, and engagement levels within the sales and marketing teams. 

  • Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and support the development of HR policies and programs that promote a high performing workplace.

  • Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and recognition programs tailored to the unique demands of sales personnel. 

 
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a focus on high-growth organizations and Sales and Marketing teams. 

  • Proven track record of covering GTM / Sales client organizations. (Strong acumen and knowledge of Sales incentive structures, enablement, and effective organizational structures in the Tech industry). 

  • Proven experience in sales compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations within a sales-driven environment. 

  • Strong understanding of HR metrics and the ability to leverage data for business insight. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organizations. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. 

  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software systems. 

  • Experience with year end performance management process, ensuring effective goal setting, ongoing feedback, and performance evaluations for employees to maximize engagement and productivity. 

  • Experience in the tech industry is preferred. 

Salary Range

$144,000.00 - $204,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
