Supports the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, HR records, employee changes, recruiting, seasonal workforce coordination, and employee communications. Assists with the Workday HRIS transition through data validation, testing, documentation, training, reporting, and process improvement. Also supports payroll and benefits coordination, engagement programs, performance management, compensation initiatives, organizational materials, compliance activities, and HR projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Tribeca Enterprises is seeking a highly organized, resourceful Senior Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across Human Resources and an opportunity to contribute to both the day-to-day employee experience and several important HR initiatives underway across the organization.
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Senior HR Coordinator will support employees throughout the employee lifecycle while helping keep our HR operations, systems, data, and programs running smoothly. A significant near-term focus will be supporting our HRIS transition and related HR technology and process-improvement projects, including data preparation, testing, documentation, training materials, reporting, and employee communications.
Because we are a lean HR team supporting a dynamic organization and a significant seasonal workforce, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and can move comfortably between detailed HR administration and project-based work. You'll have the opportunity to learn the business, work across departments, and help us build smarter and more scalable ways of working.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for full-time, temporary, seasonal, and freelance employees, creating an organized and welcoming experience.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and coordinate technology, system access, workspace, documentation, and other first-day needs with internal teams.
- Complete and track Form I-9s, required documentation, policy acknowledgements, and compliance training.
- Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, organizational updates, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and respond to day-to-day employee and manager HR questions.
- Partner closely with Payroll & Benefits to ensure employee information, timekeeping, and other HR data are accurate and complete.
- Play an active role in Tribeca's upcoming HRIS transition to Workday, helping with data preparation and validation, system testing, process documentation, employee communications, training, and implementation support.
- Maintain and audit employee data across HR systems and assist with reporting and data requests.
- Help identify opportunities to simplify, document, and improve HR processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain HR resources, process guides, templates, presentations, and training materials.
- Develop and update organizational charts, workforce materials, PowerPoint presentations, and other visual HR communications for employees, managers, and leadership.
- Support HR metrics, dashboards, workforce planning, and organizational projects.
- Assist with performance management, goal setting, compensation, job descriptions, policy updates, and other annual HR initiatives.
- Support recruiting activities, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communications, offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment documentation.
- Help coordinate the hiring and onboarding of Tribeca's large seasonal workforce in preparation for the annual Tribeca Festival.
- Coordinate seasonal orientation sessions and track completion of onboarding and compliance requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to help ensure seasonal employees are ready to work and support post-Festival offboarding.
- Help coordinate employee engagement programs, learning sessions, company events, recognition initiatives, and other employee experiences.
- Support manager and employee training, including training related to new HR technology and processes.
- Draft and format HR announcements, employee resources, presentations, and other internal communications.
- Support Open Enrollment and other HR programs through employee communications, meeting coordination, and resource development.
- Approximately 2–4 years of Human Resources, People Operations, or related experience, ideally in a hands-on HR support role.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfort working with HR systems, employee data, spreadsheets, reporting, and process documentation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Share Point and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong presentation and document-design skills, including the ability to create clear, polished PowerPoint presentations, organizational charts, process materials, and employee-facing communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through independently, and shift gears when business needs change.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- A collaborative, service-oriented approach and comfort working with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, solve problems, and take on new responsibilities.
- Experience with Workday or another major HRIS.
- Experience supporting an HRIS implementation, migration, or system upgrade.
- Familiarity with payroll, timekeeping, benefits, or HR reporting.
- Experience supporting a seasonal, hourly, or high-volume workforce.
- Experience in media, entertainment, live events, hospitality, or another fast-moving environment.
This is an opportunity to build your HR experience inside a creative, highly visible organization where the work changes throughout the year. You'll be part of a small HR team, which means you'll have meaningful exposure to many areas of the function rather than being limited to one specialty.
You'll help support the people behind Tribeca's year-round business and the Tribeca Festival, while also playing an important role in modernizing our HR systems and processes. For someone who enjoys combining people, technology, organization, and problem-solving, this role offers the chance to contribute immediately while continuing to grow as an HR professional.
