Senior IBM Maximo Consultant

Overview

Inabia is seeking a Senior IBM Maximo Project Manager to lead complex Maximo implementation, configuration, and integration engagements across enterprise environments. This role uniquely blends deep technical Maximo expertise with strong project and program management discipline to drive successful client outcomes. The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining a regular onsite presence and serving as the primary bridge between technical teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IBM Maximo implementation and upgrade projects
• Serve as the primary onsite client-facing liaison, facilitating technical and functional discussions with stakeholders at all levels
• Oversee and guide Maximo configuration activities including Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow Designer, and Security Groups
• Direct integration workstreams leveraging Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST, JSON, XML, and OSLC standards
• Manage Automation Scripting (Python) and Java/MBO framework development efforts within the project scope
• Provide domain expertise across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes including plant maintenance lifecycles, inventory replenishment, and supply chain/procurement
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, status reports, and executive communications
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor resources to meet project milestones and quality standards

Key Qualifications

• Strong IBM Maximo experience spanning both technical configuration and functional EAM domains
• Proven project and program management background on large-scale Maximo engagements
• Proficiency in Maximo database architecture and SQL across Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server platforms
• Hands-on experience with Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow Designer, and Security Groups
• Expertise in Automation Scripting (Python) and the Java/MBO framework
• Solid working knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST, JSON, XML, and OSLC
• Strong domain understanding of EAM, plant maintenance lifecycles, inventory replenishment, and supply chain and procurement processes
• Comfortable with regular, recurring onsite client presence — this role requires more than occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x or 9.x)
• Experience transitioning clients from legacy Maximo versions to MAS environments
