Position Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end operational lifecycle of private market investments, including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, funding activities, and cash movements.
  • Review, validate, and process complex investment transactions while ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform portfolio reconciliations and investigate operational exceptions, breaks, and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting, including commitments, funded capital, NAVs, distributions, and portfolio exposures.
  • Partner with investment teams, fund administrators, custodians, finance, and external managers to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment activities.
  • Monitor operational risks, identify control gaps, and support audit, compliance, and governance activities.
  • Support valuation, performance reporting, and data quality initiatives across private market portfolios.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Maintain and enhance operational procedures, controls, and documentation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members on investment operations processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, investment accounting, portfolio reporting, or alternative investment operations.
  • Experience supporting Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or other private market investment strategies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of capital calls, distributions, investment accounting, partnership structures, and investment lifecycle events.
  • Experience working with investment managers, custodians, fund administrators, and finance teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with investment management, accounting, or reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, CPA, CSC, or progress toward completion are considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between

$73,350.00 USD - $122,250.00 USD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
