We’re looking for a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to lead our IT buying and asset tracking function. In this role, you’ll lead a small team, and work closely with IT, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure smooth, compliant purchasing of IT hardware and software. You’ll own the lifecycle of IT assets, from intake to fulfillment to retirement, and help scale the processes, tools, and reporting that support a growing global workforce.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead a small but high-impact team that executes day-to-day IT purchasing, including laptops, monitors, and SaaS
  • Oversee purchase requests from intake to fulfillment, ensuring adherence to SLOs and clear communication on status and blockers
  • Manage accurate inventory tracking and asset lifecycle processes from acquisition to decommissioning
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvements in the IT buying lifecycle
Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT purchasing, procurement operations, or asset management at a tech company
  • 1+ years managing a team or function, including full-time employees or contractors
  • Familiarity with SaaS, hardware, and peripheral buying in a distributed workforce model
  • Hands-on experience with asset management and procurement tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jamf, Oomnitza, Coupa, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you know what’s been ordered, received, and deployed
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Security

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

 Benefits and Growth:

  • High income earning opportunities based on individual performance
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Sales training in MEDDIC and Command of the Message
  • Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal panel discussions
  • Free, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
  • Competitive global benefits
  • Giving programs

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
