As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms, you exhibit both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding software, applications, and technical processes across multiple technical disciplines. You also have a specialization in a specific domain within infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
  • Applies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate risk
  • Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
  • Be responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements
  • Drives results and implements multiple complex programs
  • Drives thought leadership within the product line
  • Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives
  • Considers upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
  • Advises junior engineers and technologists

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of full stack network design and deployment
  • Expert level knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as software defined networks / zero touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, and network security technologies and practices.
  • Experience with wired/wireless LAN/BGP WAN/SD-WAN and 802.1x technologies from vendors including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout
  • Adept in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds

  • Self-directed individual that consistently takes initiative, manages their own workload efficiently, and proactively seeks solutions and opportunities for improvement with minimal supervision
  • Ability to inspire confidence, command respect, and influence others effectively including clear communication, decisiveness, poise under pressure, authenticity, and the ability to project credibility and authority in professional settings
