JOB DUTIES: Conduct market analysis to understand consumer behavior, and media consumption trends. Support ad sales research teams from pre-buy to post-buy process. Collaborate with sales teams to provide research-driven insights that support ad sales pitches and client meetings, and request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) procurement processes. Produce performance reports for ad sales comprising program insights, audience reach, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Mine media research tools like Nielsen, comScore, and MRI. Conduct primary research projects including study development, analysis, visualization and presenting insights via presentations. Design, implement and execute research studies to showcase the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Work closely with the marketing, sales, and content teams to align research initiatives with broader business strategies. Create clear, compelling visual reports and dashboards to communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Lead presentations to the sales and support teams, summarizing research insights and strategic recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Data Science, Digital Media, or related field. Must have five (5) years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Analyst, Digital Research Manager or related occupation. 

 

SKILLS: Must have: 

  • Experience writing, programming and analyzing primary research data.  
  • Three (3) years experience with media and advertising research or market research.  
  • Three (3) years experience developing reporting and insight from behavioral data and managing external client and agency requests.  
  • Three (3) years experience developing monthly and quarterly reporting (performance dashboards, audience profiling, and competitive insights).  
  • Three (3) years experience developing insights for television programming and supporting digital platforms including digital video, newsletters, CTV, audio/podcasting and social.  
  • Three (3) years experience with at least three of the following third-party marketing tools: MRI-Simmons; YouGov; Adobe Analytics; Comscore Media Metrix, Mobile/Video Metrix, and Plan Metrix; YouTube Analytics; Ipsos Affluent Study; Erdos & Morgan Opinion Leaders Survey; or market research databases eMarketer and Mintel.  
  • Two (2) years experience running measurement projects (Brand Lift studies) and working with measurement vendors (Kantar or RealEyes).
