As a Senior Manager of Business Process & Controls at Spectrum, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our accounting and finance teams, maintaining governance and compliance for financial systems, and strengthening internal control over financial reporting. Your expertise will help safeguard Spectrum's processes and drive effective risk mitigation.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Perform routine monitoring of rulesets for appropriateness and completeness
- Provide input to the security administrator(s) to implement ruleset modifications
- Identify changes with sensitive access and segregation of duties risks or issues
- Liaise with the security administrator(s) to implement necessary changes
- Work with the business to identify or create and apply mitigating controls, as needed
- Evaluate all task and business role change requests for security impact and general appropriateness
- Ensure end users have the requisite amount of system access while minimizing system and business risks of fraud or other improper actions
- Participate in project planning and implementation meetings to ensure proper controls are instituted in any system enhancements or major process changes within accounting and finance
- Seek continuous process improvements, promote standardization of processes and procedures and ensure effective internal controls are in place to mitigate the company's financial reporting risks
- Facilitate User Access Review processes and liaise with the internal and external audit teams as necessary

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field
Experience
- 5+ years of public accounting and/or consulting experience
- 3+ years of management experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to supervise and motivate others
- Ability to use MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and online content management and collaboration tools (i.e., SharePoint)
- Knowledge of cable television products and services
- Knowledge of accounting practices, including financial statement and internal control requirements
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, either directly or through audits
- Knowledge and application of ERP security best practices, policies and procedures
