Then take your next career step with us! NXP Semiconductors is hiring a results-driven Manager for channel marketing & social media to lead our digital channel presence and social media strategy.

This role includes channel planning, content activation and performance optimization. The successful candidate will ensure we are present in the right channels, engaging audiences effectively with high-quality, consistent content that supports brand visibility, audience growth and demand generation.

The position is open across NXP sites in Austin or San Jose and reports into the head of digital marketing. You´ll be part of a team of 70+ marketing communications colleagues across the globe.

Responsibilities

Channel Marketing Execution

  • Plan and execute channel strategies across social, web, partner and emerging platforms
  • Identify priority channels based on audience behaviour and campaign needs
  • Optimize channel mix and performance through data-driven insights
  • Partner with content and campaign teams to activate content across channels
  • Ensure content is high-quality, technically credible, and channel-appropriate
  • Adapt formats to maximize performance (video, technical explainers, thought leadership)

Social Media Leadership

  • Own global social media strategy and day-to-day execution (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Drive audience growth, engagement and reach
  • Manage editorial calendars, publishing and campaign amplification

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and report on key KPIs (engagement, reach, audience growth, campaign support)
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve channel and content performance
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to connect channel activity to business outcomes

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a small team responsible for social and channel execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with demand generation, campaign management, marketing communications and brand content teams
  • Share best practices and drive consistency across global teams

What you will bring

  • Hands-on, execution-focus with strong attention to detail
  • Clear understanding of what works across B2B digital and social channels
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into engaging content
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and results-oriented team player

Qualifications: 

  • 6–10 years of experience in B2B digital marketing or MarCom, preferably in technology or engineering-led industries
  • Strong hands-on expertise in social media management and multi-channel execution
  • Understanding of B2B buyer journeys and technical audiences (engineers, developers, decision-makers)
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to turn insights into actionable improvements
  • Experience managing agencies or external partners is a plus
  • Excellent command of English

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing or related field 
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and strong team orientation
  • Curiosity, proactivity, and a bias for action
  • Solid understanding of digital and content platforms, and (AEO) content strategy
  • Strong affinity for technology and ability to build foundational technical understanding
