Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Contract Marketing leads the development and execution of contracting strategies across ICU Medical’s U.S. Consumables business, IV Solutions Joint Venture, and select growth segments. This role partners closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Business Unit leadership to structure customer agreements that drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and long-term customer value.
This leader is accountable for end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including deal structuring, pricing strategy, contract execution, and post-signature performance. The role also leads a team responsible for contracting operations and analytics, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Lead development and execution of contracting strategies to support revenue and margin growth across Individual and IDN customers
- Partner with Sales leadership to structure complex deals aligned with pricing and margin targets
- Participate in customer negotiations and high-value commercial discussions
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, redlining, execution, and post-signature management
- Ensure contract accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal approval processes and GPO strategies
- Manage amendment workflows, pricing files, and contract documentation
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive efficient contract execution
- Present deal analyses, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior leadership
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of contracting professionals
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused team environment
Process, Tools & Analytics
- Drive process improvements to increase contracting efficiency and throughput
- Develop and maintain tools, dashboards, and reporting to support decision-making
- Leverage systems such as Microsoft tools and Model N to optimize workflows
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in pricing, deal structuring, and contract negotiation
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Experience managing complex contract portfolios, including IDNs and GPOs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant contract/pricing systems (e.g., Model N preferred)
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in contracting, pricing, or commercial operations
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations and contract strategy
- Experience working with IDNs, GPOs, or healthcare distribution models preferred
Work Environment
- This is largely a sedentary role.
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Typically requires travel 5% of the time

This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
