We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging. Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.

Edelman has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years – growth that is reflective of the firm’s ongoing evolution from a PR agency into a communications marketing firm. We offer specialized areas of expertise, including digital, social, creative, paid media, creator marketing and research to help clients evolve, promote and protect their brands in the market.

By investing heavily in specialty areas – and by focusing on collaboration, agency position, innovation, and establishing a culture of creativity – Edelman is well-positioned to continue to deliver best-in-class work to our clients in today’s complex media landscape.

Edelman has an exciting opportunity for a Creator New Business role focused primarily on accelerating Creator new business growth globally while supporting integrated Social and Creator opportunities.

Reporting to the VP, Creator Marketing and working closely with the Director of Digital Growth, this role will connect Creator into Edelman’s broader growth engine, helping identify, develop and convert new and organic opportunities while ensuring Creator is effectively integrated into broader agency solutions and new business efforts.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive and strategic collaborator who understands the creator and social landscape and thrives at the intersection of business development, storytelling, operations and integrated marketing. This individual will drive case development, coordinate new business operations and workflows, manage the active opportunity pipeline, and ensure seamless collaboration across Creator, Social and broader integrated teams to develop compelling client solutions.

The role requires strong project and stakeholder management skills, an ability to manage multiple fast-moving opportunities simultaneously, and the ability to translate Edelman’s Creator capabilities, expertise and client work into persuasive new business narratives.

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate Creator new business growth globally, partnering with Creator, Social and broader agency leadership to identify, develop and advance new opportunities.

  • Support integrated Social and Creator new business opportunities, bringing together the right capabilities, teams, expertise and work to develop differentiated client solutions.

  • Manage and analyze the active Creator new business pipeline and associated workflows, maintaining visibility into opportunities, timelines, owners, deliverables and next steps, while identifying trends in demand, conversion, whitespace and growth opportunities to inform new business priorities.

  • Lead case study, credentials and capabilities development, translating Edelman’s strongest Creator work and expertise into compelling stories and maintaining an organized library of materials for new business and client opportunities.

  • Partner with pitch leads and subject matter experts on RFI/RFP responses, proposals, presentations and pitches, contributing to strategic narratives, identifying relevant capabilities and proof points, helping translate Social + Creator expertise into compelling client solutions, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.

  • Collaborate across Creator, Social, strategy, creative, paid, earned, production, analytics and account teams to ensure Creator thinking is effectively integrated into broader client solutions.

  • Establish and continuously improve new business processes, tools and best practices that make Creator growth efforts more efficient, scalable and consistent across North America.

  • Support organic growth and the transition of new business wins into client work, identifying opportunities to expand Creator offerings within existing relationships and ensuring continuity between proposed strategies and program activation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing and/or related fields including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, social media, creator marketing, business development or integrated communications.

  • Experience supporting or leading new business development, including proposal development, RFI/RFP responses, credentials development and/or pitches.

  • Experience working within or alongside social, creator, digital or integrated marketing teams.

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of social media, creators, content creators and the broader creator marketing ecosystem, with the ability to apply that knowledge to both new business opportunities and client work.

  • Experience developing strategic and creative Creator and Social solutions that respond to client business and brand objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience in new business and pitch development, including shaping narratives, developing proposals, responding to RFI/RFPs and contributing to presentations.

  • Experience translating successful client work into compelling case studies, credentials and new business stories.

  • Strong understanding of how Creator integrates with Social, paid, earned, creative, production and broader communications marketing disciplines.

  • Experience using data, insights, cultural trends and performance metrics to strengthen strategic recommendations for both prospective and existing clients.

  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organized and operationally minded, with experience developing workflows and processes that improve visibility, efficiency and accountability.

  • Exceptional collaborator who can build relationships and work effectively across practices, specialties, geographies and levels of seniority.

  • Experience working directly with clients and contributing to the development and execution of integrated Social and/or Creator programs preferred.
