Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing- CRM role will be an email marketing subject matter expert building relationships with cross-functional teams to influence, drive sales and build breakthrough CRM programs. Management of best-in-class CRM programs including development of test and learn activations, applying learnings to future activations, audience management and a keen eye for detail and quality assurance. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to rapidly pivot when the business requires doing so.  Vision to identify new opportunities throughout the consumer engagement journey to grow awareness, engagement and conversion.  Ability to manage internal stakeholders across the organization, and agility to influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment. Willingness to quickly ramp up in a fast-paced environment to execute day-to-day management of CRM channel across Home Appliance categories. You'll get to:

  • Build B2C email marketing program, including lifecycle, transactional and ad-hoc campaigns. Apply your analytical abilities and creative talents to develop world-class email marketing campaigns.
  • Champion continuous advancement of marketing automation features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, and template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including development teams, designers, business teams, and others. Leverage marketing automation tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Manage step-by-step process of campaigns including but not limited to coordination with design and editorial, defining template structure with marketing, structuring A/B tests, setting up campaign and delivery, and reporting on results.
  • Scope, develop and oversee CRM marketing strategies across email, push, and SMS to meet Marketing KPI goals. Develop reporting and KPI’s to measure campaign effectiveness and make recommendations on optimization opportunities.
  • Work with our data ops, deployment, content and creative teams to design and launch complex automated campaigns using our internal and external tools
  • Drive 1:1 personalization and segmentation strategy, reporting on results and identifying new segment opportunities. Work closely with market research and insights teams to understand consumer segmentation, behavior, and identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing
  • Work closely with marketing team on calendar planning, project prioritization and performance tracking, and implement integrated campaigns across advertising, social, email, and other channels
  • Create relevant reporting and analytics which provide insight into issues and opportunities leading to action.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, e-commerce, merchandising or related field; or equivalent experience required.
  • 8+ years’ experience with customer marketing, customer communications, or the customer engagement space and 5+ years’ experience with B2C Marketing.
  • Track record of creating email marketing strategies that inspire customers and drive revenue.
  • Experience driving demonstrable business results through testing and deploying effective marketing campaigns across different channels.
  • Prior experience in working with an email service provider, managing a daily email/SMS campaign and reporting on results is required.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, email service providers and CRM; interest in getting under the hood to bend the technology to your will.
  • Experience with one or more B2C digital marketing platforms (e.g. Adobe, Oracle, IBM).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to details with swift execution
  • Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities
  • Experience with A/B testing, messaging, and post-campaign analysis
  • Proficient in analyzing and reporting on KPIs
  • Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in using web and data analytic tools (Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate your ideas and convince an audience using data and visual storytelling.

The salary range for this role in New Jersey is expected to be between $159,000 and $196,500.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
