PAY RANGE: $110,000-$138,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Education + Events to accelerate sales by owning & executing a best-in-class strategy for global education and consumer-facing events. You’ll design and implement specialized brand and product training content to support our Sales team + retailer Beauty Advisors. Your educational content will include videos, digital learning tools, in-store print materials, live-training guides, and events (both in-store and out of store). You’ll partner closely with internal teams like Field Sales, Brand Marketing, and Creative. You’ll also work with external partners like our retail partners, translation services, and other vendors. You’ll report to the VP of Sales. 

  1. Strategy. Build and maintain our overall strategy for brand and product education that services all key stakeholders: Farmacy Field Sales, retailer Beauty Advisors, and the internal team. 
  2. Concepting. Drive conceptualization and development of education content, programs, events, and materials. Bring innovative ideas, always thinking creatively of how we can best educate our internal teams + our consumers. 
  3. Execution. Create and project manage the creation of all education and event assets. Partner closely with Copywriter and Creative/Design to ensure consistent brand voice, look, and feel across all touch points. 
  4. Education & Consumer-facing Events. Lead as the main point of contact for concepting & execution of education & retailer-focused training events, as well as larger-scale consumer events.
  5. Support Field Educator. Prepare the Field Education Leader who will be the face of the brand for New Store Openings, remote virtual trainings, product demonstration videos, etc. Overall, partner closely to understand and meet the needs of our Sales team in-store. 
  6. Marketing. Partner seamlessly with key Brand stakeholders (social, brand, Ecommerce) to build compelling content that will simplify our consumers’ understanding of how to use our products. 
  7. Budget. Manage Education budget, including in-store eventing, gratis, print materials (placemats, postcards, cubes, etc).

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Brand Education and Training. Corporate experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the skincare category: common ingredients, formulas, benefits, and consumer needs.
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Passion for beauty; beauty industry experience required.
  • Experience working with key beauty retailers (Sephora, Ulta) from the brand side — developing and executing education programs, events, and training initiatives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; comfortable being the sole education lead owning strategy and execution end-to-end.
  • Expert in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, able to manage a diverse and evolving workload.
  • Outstanding time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Able to commute to the NYC office a minimum of 2 days per week.
  • Available for various weekend and evening events on a scheduled, ad hoc basis.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

  • Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - 138,000 per year (pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience).
