Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated (Senior) Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to be a critical partner in driving ParentSquare’s financial performance and strategic decision-making. This role will be responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, and preparing insightful performance analysis for executive leadership. The (Senior) Manager of FP&A will play a key role in translating operational data into actionable financial insights to support the company’s continued growth.

This role will include:
  • Lead Traditional FP&A Processes: Own the company-wide planning and forecasting processes and perform variance analyses to drive accountability across business teams.
  • Act as Strategic Finance Partner: Serve as a finance partner to department leaders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, R&D) to manage operating expenses, develop financial models for new initiatives, and identify opportunities for efficiency and margin improvement.
  • Executive & Investor Reporting: Prepare and present insightful financial analysis and management reporting packages to articulate business performance, and support the leadership team with materials related to Investor Relations.
  • Drive System & Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement and automation across FP&A tools and systems (e.g., ERP, planning software) to enhance forecast accuracy and reporting efficiency. You are a champion of integrating AI-driven workflows and predictive analytics to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Long-Term Planning & Capital Allocation: Develop and maintain complex, integrated financial models to support long-term strategic planning.

Most importantly, you’re someone who shares in our passion for improving the lives of students through communication.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • 5+ years of prior experience in SaaS FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • An AI-native mindset: You are proactive about using AI tools to streamline financial workflows and extract deeper insights.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with dedicated FP&A platforms / ERP systems.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (a modeling test will be part of the process).
  • Extensive experience collecting, interpreting, and analyzing large, complex datasets. Someone who looks beyond standard metrics to find operational insights that truly move the needle.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, with ability to balance attention to detail with a view of the bigger strategic picture.
  • A self-starter who can build on financial processes that scale. A proactive problem-solver mentality with ability to roll up the sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The perks of working for us are great!

You’ll get your foot in the door as our company continues to grow. We’re big believers in work-life balance and provide:

  • Employer-paid health insurance (including dependent coverage)
  • An employer-matched 401K retirement savings program from day 1
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Stock options
  • Health + wellness reimbursements
  • PTO that increases each year
  • 16 paid holidays, including your birthday!

As a fully remote team, we’ll make sure you have all the tools and equipment you need to make your home office a place where you can thrive.

We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
