As Senior Manager, Head of Fraud Strategy, you will lead the strategy and execution of fraud policy and models for both credit card and banking business. In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing individuals to deliver a strategic roadmap to fight against fraud. We are excited to find someone who is ready to make a significant impact on our fraud risk management practice!

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, or Washington, DC offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.

What you’ll do
  • Leverage data, technology, and customer-focused thinking to design and execute the roadmap for fraud prevention in the credit card and banking business
  • Collaborate with partners from product, operations, and engineering to build and deploy fraud defense strategies that protect the customer and the business
  • Be entrepreneurial and seek information/data to solve complex problems
  • Manage a team of high-performing individuals to deliver a coherent fraud strategy for the business
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership, tailoring content to the audience and ensuring alignment across product, operations, and engineering teams
What you bring
  • 10+ years of demonstrated ability building and leading fraud risk management strategies in the credit card and banking space in fintechs, traditional banks, or payment companies
  • Hands-on operational leadership and strong collaborative and influencing abilities across product and engineering teams
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex programs and focus on key areas of leverage
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
