About the Role

Willow Wealth is hiring a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to own the customer journey from the moment someone signs up through their first investment and into long-term retention. This is a sole-owner role: you'll set the lifecycle strategy, run the send calendar, build the campaigns, and measure the results.

This role owns the full lifecycle marketing channel mix, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS, and on-platform messaging. You will determine what belongs in each channel and bring them together into a coherent customer journey. You will also own campaign launches, working with our Strategy team to translate new offerings into a marketing narrative and a coordinated go-to-market plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle strategy and segmentation: defining the customer journey, the audience segments, and the triggers that move people through it
  • Email, end to end: strategy, calendar, campaigns, automation, and performance. This is the role's core channel
  • Push, in-app, SMS, and on-platform messaging: run alongside email as one journey
  • Campaign launches: the marketing side of new offering launches and go-to-market moments
  • Personalization: making sure messaging reflects each investor's lifecycle stage, product holdings, and on-platform behavior
  • Conversion, retention, and reactivation: focused on conversion, win back journeys, lapse prevention, and re-engagement campaigns for dormant investors
  • The send calendar: determining priority and cadence between product spotlights, campaign emails, and launch announcements
  • Measurement: defining what success looks like, instrumenting it, and using the data to drive ongoing decisions
  • This role is highly collaborative. You'll work closely with:
    • CRM Ops on campaign execution and QA
    • Strategy on launches, product-driven campaigns, and go-to-market moments
    • Content & Design on messaging, voice, and creative
    • Product to keep lifecycle programs aligned with platform capabilities and new feature launches
    • Data on audience targeting and segmentation
    • Compliance on review and approval of investor-facing communications

Qualifications

  • A lifecycle specialist: deep, hands-on experience owning lifecycle or CRM marketing: journeys, segmentation, triggered and campaign email, and multi-channel orchestration
  • A self-starter: you've been the sole owner of a function before, set your own agenda without a playbook, and are comfortable multitasking across projects without a large team behind you
  • Direct-response instincts: conversion-focused, comfortable being measured on funnel metrics, and comfortable running tests to improve performance
  • Systems fluency: comfortable leveraging the martech stack to support your work
  • Data-driven judgment: cou can look at campaign and funnel data and know what to change next
  • Comfort with complexity: you can take a fairly complicated financial product and explain it clearly to a customer
  • Startup background: you've worked somewhere early-stage or fast-growing, where you had to build things rather than maintain them
  • Direct-to-consumer experience: You've marketed financial or luxury products directly to individual consumers
  • It's a plus if you have:
    • Fintech or regulated-industry experience: familiarity with private markets or alternative investments
    • Exposure to adjacent functions: some background in CRM operations, content, or paid media
