Position Overview:

The US Marketing Sr. Manager will create and execute downstream marketing plans to drive awareness, accelerate adoption, and grow procedural utilization of the DEXTER® Robotic Surgery System in the US. This includes identifying a need for, creating, and executing on-brand, multi-channel regional assets and programs as part of a comprehensive marketing plan. The US Marketing Sr. Manager will also build and maintain regional key customer relationships, execute new product and clinical indication launches, and create and execute US conference strategy.

The US Marketing Sr. Manager is a close partner with US Sales and Global Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and facilitate a feedback loop between customers, sales, and corporate.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic atmosphere and loves to identify creative ways to communicate the right message with customers to achieve sales goals. They also possess strong communication skills and a “better together” attitude for collaborating with field- and corporate-based teams.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Activation

  • Developing multi-stakeholder, multi-channel awareness and nurturing plans to generate, qualify, and convert leads to sales.
  • Executing new product and clinical indication launches, including measuring key launch success metrics.
  • Creating and executing regional conference strategy to achieve expected return on investment.
  • Creating and executing regional marketing strategies to drive interest, adoption, and utilization of DEXTER in key territories.
  • Supporting DEXTER customer activation events including planning, coordination, promotion, and driving DEXTER demos.

Content Creation:

  • Anticipating selling needs of the Commercial Team to accelerate customer activation.
  • Creating (including localizing Global Marketing assets) promotional collateral (e.g., sales aids, testimonials, brochures, stakeholder presentations, sales talk-tracks & objection handling) and sales training materials.
  • Developing and executing US digital marketing content.

Collaborative Engagement:

  • Delivering field sales training on value proposition and features & benefits messaging, use of promotional assets, and competitive intelligence.
  • Proactively communicating and sharing marketing initiatives and tools with the US Sales team.
  • Ensuring regional marketing initiatives are aligned with US sales objectives, corporate brand standards and messaging, and is compliant with the AdvaMed Code of Ethics.
  • Creating two-way feedback loop between the field (sales and customers) and corporate teams, including sharing insights cross-functionally among sales, education, and product teams, and educating corporate teams on US customer and market needs.
  • Working cross-functionally with Education, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Affairs teams to identify US customer needs and provide recommendations for training, professional education, and evidence.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Setting, measuring, and achieving US Marketing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Managing all US Marketing initiatives on time and within budget.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or life sciences. MBA desired.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in medical device, MedTech, or pharmaceutical Marketing. At least 3 of those years must be in industry.
  • Ability to simplify complex inputs into a compelling promotional story that influences buying habits.
  • Proven track record to collaborate with corporate teams and to develop strong sales partnerships to drive product/procedure adoption.
  • Ability to establish and maintain active and collaborative relationships with sales personnel.
  • Experience managing partnerships with external agencies to develop and produce on-brand content.
  • Able to prioritize and pivot focus to meet evolving sales and customer needs while executing on marketing objectives.
  • Product launch and / or market growth experience.
  • Superior verbal/written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with salesforce.com and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and medical device promotional standards (e.g., AdvaMed Code).
  • Ability to travel40% of the time.
