The Role

As we enter our next phase of accelerated growth, Farther is seeking a Senior Manager, PR & Communications to help build, protect, and scale Farther's public narrative across trade and consumer markets. This role is a key contributor to Farther's communications function, supporting earned media, executive visibility, thought leadership, media relations, and internal communications — helping translate Farther's story into a consistent and credible presence across advisor, client, and broader fintech audiences.

Your Impact

Earned Media & Brand Narrative

  • Support Farther's external communications narrative under the direction of marketing leadership.
  • Translate platform and product innovation into compelling advisor value stories.
  • Identify and flag perceptual and reputational risks for leadership consideration.

PR Strategy & Earned Growth

  • Execute a proactive PR strategy aligned to advisor and client growth objectives.
  • Pursue national, fintech, and wealth management media coverage in partnership with PR leadership.
  • Amplify company milestones through coordinated earned media efforts.

Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership

  • Support executive positioning as category-defining voices in wealth management.
  • Assist with media prep, bylines, interview coordination, and speaking opportunities.

Internal Communications & Brand Alignment

  • Execute internal communications strategy that unifies HQ and Farther's distributed advisor network.
  • Support executive messaging, narrative development, and how decisions land across employees, advisors, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with growth and change communications around M&A, advisor onboardings, restructurings, and platform rollouts.
  • Manage internal comms channels including the editorial calendar across Slack, email, town halls, and all-hands.
  • Partner with the People Team to build engagement and culture, celebrating wins like AUM milestones and award recognition.
  • Track engagement, sentiment, and adoption KPIs to sharpen communications strategy.
  • Support crisis communications alongside Legal, Compliance, and senior comms leadership.
  • Draft and edit executive communications including all-hands content, advisor announcements, and company-wide memos.
  • Support employer brand initiatives across the firm.
The Ideal Match
  • 7–10 years of PR/communications experience in fintech or financial services.
  • Demonstrated media relations and executive communications support experience.
  • Working knowledge of wealth management and advisor ecosystems.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and project management skills.
Bonus Points
  • Track record of driving growth in advisor-relevant earned media and share of voice.
  • Experience managing PR-driven advisor recruitment campaigns.
  • Familiarity with brand sentiment measurement and narrative consistency tracking.
