Senior Manager, Sales Account Executive, Agency Development
JOB SUMMARY
As a Sr Media Sales Account Executive leading on Agency Development, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing Agency Holding Company relationships at the most senior level and facilitating revenue growth from agency partners. Working under the VP, Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for educating agency leaders and driving MARRIOTT MEDIA product adoption and revenue growth across agency-managed advertisers through strategic partnerships.
You will develop and execute agency development plans across an assigned list of agencies and partner with account teams to increase revenue and adoption of Riott Media’s best-in-class media solutions. You are naturally curious and stay current on the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem, digital marketing landscape, and emerging measurement methodologies. You are a strategic thinker who consistently elevates your work.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field;
- Five or more years of experience in digital media including agency and sales experience;
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage agency executive-level relationships;
- Proven track record of quota achievement and delivering revenue growth across a broad product portfolio and new product offering;
- Deep knowledge of digital media landscape including development of media strategies, working with agencies, and understanding of media trends and technology/capabilities; strong understanding of programmatic, display, video, search, and social advertising;
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs and provide data-driven solutions inclusive of annual partnership strategy;
- Strong project management and collaboration skills, structured strategic thinking, strong analytical ability, and a passion for new ideas.
Education and Experience Preferred
- Master's degree in business/technical field or MBA
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Primary Activities
- Develop and activate an agency engagement strategy across all decision-makers at the agency;
- Cultivate senior-level relationships within assigned agency partners;
- Manage complex negotiations and partnership discussions including negotiation commercials agreements to drive incremental product adoption and revenue growth;
- Lead agency enablement and education to support Sales Account Teams (training, deep dive summits, and other agency-wide events);
- Collaborate with Sales Account Teams managing advertiser relationships to develop account plans;
- Understand industry trends and provide feedback from agencies to internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and policy teams.
