TITLE: Senior Manager, Supply and Procurement

REPORTS TO: VP, Operations

LOCATION: New York, NY (in-person 2 days per week). Flatiron District 

STATUS: full time, exempt 

PAY RANGE: $110,000-$138,000. (pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience).

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager of Supply + Procurement leads procurement and production processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role involves supplier management, inventory optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate will also analyze market trends (including competitive info with CM & Packaging vendors), support contract negotiation process, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and a focus on continuous improvement are essential for success in this position. 

This role will work cross-functionally across departments to align priorities, serve as a key contact for vendors, and ensure effective collaboration across internal and external partners. Corporate experience and strong stakeholder management skills are critical for success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay process, including purchase order management, product updates, replenishment, and new product development. Serve as the main liaison for all CMs and suppliers, leading open order calls, business reviews, and KPI tracking to ensure performance and accountability.
  • Planning & Inventory Optimization: Lead monthly production planning for finished goods and components, balancing inventory targets and agility. Develop safety stock strategies, manage component usage, and oversee inventory reconciliation to support business continuity and minimize waste.
  • Systems & Product Data Management: Manage all NetSuite product data (Bills of Materials, lead times, product masters) to ensure accuracy and support MRP-driven processes. Oversee product lifecycle planning and scenario analysis in partnership with Demand Planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Creative teams to align timelines, budgets, and priorities for production and packaging initiatives. Ensure effective communication between internal teams and external vendors to deliver on-time, in-full results.
  • Continuous Improvement & Quality: Drive CM efficiency initiatives, strategic sourcing, and packaging updates to enhance value chain performance. Maintain high quality standards and lead process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
  • Leadership & Strategic Projects:Lead ad-hoc analyses and cross-functional initiatives that drive top-line growth and bottom-line improvements. Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing, production, or supply chain management.
  • Proven success in a corporate or matrixed environment with strong collaboration and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities, with a record of achieving cost savings and optimizing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with NetSuite ERP and supply chain software.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and global manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with competing priorities.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM or APICS CPIM preferred but not required.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are preferred but not required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
