About the role

AIG is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a high-impact marketing team focused on advancing key business priorities. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, North America, the Senior Manager is a member of the North America Marketing team. This leader will serve as a strategic thought partner to the Lexington and Western World teams at AIG.


This role offers strong visibility, working closely with both the CEO and the President of Lexington Insurance Company on priority initiatives and help shape how the wholesale business engages with brokers, clients, and the broader market.  The role plays a key part in translating priorities into clear, effective marketing programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing strategies aligned to wholesale business priorities, growth objectives and market opportunities.

  • Become deeply immersed in and build a strong knowledge of the Lexington and Western World business units, products, and market dynamics, to serve as a strategic marketing advisor to the business leadership and key stakeholders across both organizations.

  • Translate business priorities into coordinated marketing initiatives that support profitable growth and strengthen market positioning.

  • Shape the positioning and messaging for wholesale products, capabilities and solutions by translating clear, compelling marketing narratives.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen differentiation and visibility within the wholesale market.

  • Partner closely with the distribution team to deepen broker engagement across priority audiences.

  • Partner with communications and public relations team to strengthen executive visibility, thought leadership, and industry presence.

  • Collaborate with the broader North America Marketing team to deliver coordinated integrated campaign strategies.

  • Lead and support client and broker events, including messaging, materials, and follow-up.

  • Operate with pace and a strong focus on executional excellence and business impact.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline marketing workflows.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in insurance, financial services, or professional services

  • Strong stakeholder presence with the ability to partner with senior leaders

  • Proven ability to execute campaigns, content, and events

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills

  • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Proactive, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

 

For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $140,000 - $159,000. For positions based in NJ, the base salary range is $133,000 - $152,000. For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $127,000 - $146,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
