Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client's organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
You will manage a team of technical project consultants that support implementations, technical strategies, or initiatives with significant impact on the organization. You will manage a portfolio of projects through the technical and resource scoping phase through delivery. Focusing on complexity and inherent risks across a wide range of business areas, where there are strong interdependencies and shared resources, and you will manage the team from their sales identification and definition through to the eventual realization and achievement of measurable improvements.
About the Team
Mastercard Deploy is Mastercard's end to end implementation and program management consulting capability that helps clients launch, operate, and scale digital products and platforms by combining technical solutioning, program management, and digital enablement expertise. It delivers full stack execution support including MVP builds, mobile app and platform integrations, governance and stakeholder alignment, on site specialist resources, and enablement across domains such as Open Finance, Digital Banking, Real Time Payments, and Embedded Finance. Across its broader service model, Mastercard Deploy provides holistic implementation, co development, and launch support, integrating Mastercard products, accelerating time to market through proven frameworks, and supplying specialized technical teams to address resource constraints, orchestrate delivery, and ensure high quality digital execution for clients.
Client Impact
Lead complex technical client engagements across a range of industries and problem statements
Collaborate with project sponsors, technical delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of client strategies
Establish governance structures, develop technical plans, and manage budgets for the program
Direct the development of strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
Own senior client relationships up to the C-suite to drive commercial success
Serve as a trusted client technical advisor and generate enthusiasm for the Mastercard team and our recommendations
Team Collaboration & Culture
Provide leadership to the North American Program Management team as the people leader of the technical group, supporting fast growth from a recruiting and career management perspective
Lead all strategic and technical aspects such as overall capacity planning and revenue/cost alignment, alignment with senior stakeholders within Services and across other business units
Lead the Technical program group in sharing best practices, deliver superior quality deliverables, and create a collaborative and inclusive environment
On individual client teams, guide teams through complex problem solving in support of generating deployments that drive client value
Own relationships with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to scope technical staffing projects, create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's intellectual capital
Partner with Global Product Management to ensure achievement of set objectives and identify new opportunities for the team and company to grow
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree with work experience in technical implementation, technical scoping, consulting, corporate strategy, or product management
10+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience
Strong Technical and Delivery Expertise - Ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions, support full-stack delivery, and work across distributed engineering squads.
Experience coaching and leading teams across large, strategic technical implementation engagements that involve structured problem solving and stakeholder management
Experience leading senior client relationships
Deep knowledge of technical delivery management, financials, and organizational leadership
Experience in managing contingent workforce programs and optimizing partnerships with third party staffing vendors to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable talent delivery.
Ability to lead multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience in technical delivery of high value strategic, enterprise and or market level initiatives across the financial services sector, including examples of adapting program scope / deliverables to increase or maintain program value
Able to evidence extensive practical knowledge of the successful delivery of strategic roadmap, PMO, technical testing, service improvement and transformational change methods, frameworks, tools and processes
Experience leading a team of Technical Project/Program Managers and technical team resources (Backend Developers, Software Engineers, QA Testers, etc.), and knowledgeable in different project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills, and experience building effective internal and external relationships with proven ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders; strong writer, presenter and speaker, comfortable and effective in C-level meetings. Credible & persuasive ability to deliver difficult messages with sensitivity
Enthusiastic and authentic leader with the ability to inspire others and create a collaborative culture of teamwork, accountability, open communication and organizational effectiveness
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis

National Salary Range (Applies Regardless of Location): 156,000.00 - 265,000.00 USD Annual

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
