Overview

The Senior Marketing Designer II is a highly experienced, multidisciplinary designer who takes on complex, high-impact creative work across brand marketing, campaigns, product marketing, motion, web, print, and physical experiences.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring exceptional conceptual thinking, design craft, and judgment. This designer operates with a very high degree of autonomy, tackles ambiguous design problems, and translates creative direction and strategy into original, sophisticated solutions across multiple channels and formats.

Responsibilities

    Brand & Marketing Design
    • Concept and execute high-impact creative across campaigns, web, email, social, presentations, product launches, and print.

    • Translate creative direction, brand strategy, and business objectives into sophisticated visual concepts and systems.

    • Explore multiple creative approaches and solve complex design problems in ways stakeholders may not have initially envisioned.

    • Apply and thoughtfully extend the brand system across new formats, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.

    • Product, Motion & Web

      • Develop product-driven creative across digital and physical formats, including merchandise, T-shirts, and printed materials.

      • Create motion and animation for campaigns, launches, social, and product storytelling.

      • Design engaging web experiences that support storytelling, product education, and conversion.

      • Apply strong systems thinking to create solutions that scale across channels, formats, and use cases.

      • Project Ownership & Execution
        • Own complex, multidisciplinary projects from brief through final execution with a high degree of independence.

        • Turn ambiguous challenges into clear design problems and determine the strongest approach to solving them.

        • Manage multiple high-priority projects while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.

        • Collaboration & Communication
          • Present work confidently with a clear point of view and strong rationale grounded in strategy, customer needs, and business goals.

          • Navigate complex stakeholder feedback and advocate thoughtfully for the strongest design solution.

          • Build trusted cross-functional partnerships across marketing, product, UX, engineering, and operations.

          • Provide thoughtful design feedback and guidance to other designers when appropriate.

          • Craft, Customer & Innovation
            • Demonstrate exceptional visual craft and judgment across a broad range of disciplines and formats.

            • Connect customer needs, company strategy, and product capabilities to design decisions.

            • Explore AI and emerging creative technologies to expand creative possibilities, accelerate exploration, and improve workflows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, conceptual thinking, and versatility.
  • Deep experience in brand, marketing, campaign, or product marketing design.

  • Advanced expertise in typography, composition, color, imagery, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with experience across motion, web, digital, and print.

  • Exceptional systems thinking and the ability to translate creative concepts across multiple channels and formats.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex and ambiguous design problems.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions.

  • Experience with AI, emerging technologies, and new approaches to creative work.
