  • Project Management: Lead and manage manufacturing projects, including the implementation of new processes, technologies, and production lines. Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics.

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet or exceed specifications. Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for quality issues.

  • Training and Development: Mentor and train manufacturing engineers and technicians. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Spacecraft/Satellite Experience (Required): Demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience on spacecraft vehicles or satellite systems. Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their direct, hands on-vehicle or satellite work.

  • Electro-Mechanical Integration: Proven experience working on complex, bespoke electro-mechanical systems with a strong emphasis on mechanical integration and solid working knowledge of electrical integration.

  • Anomaly Resolution: Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing anomalies on complex electro-mechanical assemblies, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in a satellite level integration engineering role, with a strong understanding of manufacturing and integration processes, and 2+ years in a lead role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools (e.g., CAD, MRP systems). Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and equipment management.

  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clearly present technical information.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in manufacturing processes and documentation.

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Industry Experience: 12+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience in aerospace, or other complex, high-tech industry.

  • Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, process optimization, and technology integration.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in manufacturing or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.

  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and systems
