Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?

At Index Exchange, creativity and innovation converge at the crossroads of storytelling and technology. We’re seeking a Motion and Content Design Manager to join our in-house Creative team—a hybrid talent who’s part digital storyteller, part motion designer, and part strategic thinker.

In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life through compelling motion graphics and content crafted for digital-first platforms. Whether it’s a quick-turn social post or a full-scale brand campaign video, you’ll collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to deliver visual creative that captivates and connects with our audiences.

As AI continues to transform how we work and innovate, we’re committed to integrating new tools and approaches that elevate our approach to content, creativity, and efficiency. We’re especially eager to meet candidates who understand and can help advise how AI tools can enhance creative workflows, making production more efficient, agile, and future-focused. We see this role as pivotal in shaping how our team leverages AI to elevate our creative and social strategies to stay ahead.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Creative content production and motion design

  • Lead concept development, storyboarding, shooting, and editing for digital-first content across platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Design and animate visually compelling motion graphics aligned with our brand strategy and campaign goals.
  • Create eye-catching static social content—including banners, carousels, and thumbnails—that supports and extends our motion work.
  • Partner with third-party production agencies to bring campaign-level brand videos to life, offering creative direction, visual guidance, and ensuring output aligns with brand standards.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories—from sizzle reels to social teasers to explainer animations.
  • Stay current on creative trends and emerging formats—and use them to push our content forward.
  • Contribute to a flexible production model—sometimes as a solo creator, sometimes leading a crew or working with external partners.

Collaboration and strategy

  • Partner closely with creative, content, communications, and product marketing teams to build content that aligns with business goals and speaks to global audiences.
  • Contribute to campaign ideation sessions and creative reviews, offering smart solutions to visual challenges.
  • Help shape our video and motion pipeline—from planning to post—keeping it scalable, repeatable, and efficient.

Post-production and workflow innovation

  • Oversee post-production, including editing, sound design, color grading, captioning, and final delivery.
  • Integrate AI tools into creative workflows—helping us test new methods, enhance production speed, and elevate output quality.
  • Manage timelines and priorities across multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of craft.

Here's what you need:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or content creation in the B2B Tech/AdTech space preferred (agency or in-house creative team a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of video editing and social content tools, including platforms and workflows commonly used in motion and video production.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your motion design, static content, and video production range, with an eye for design, pacing, and storytelling.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience using (and interest in experimenting with) generative AI tools in creative production.
  • Clear communicator who can give and receive feedback with curiosity and care.

The base salary for this role is $110,000 to $130,000 USD.  The total compensation package may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents
  • Paid time off, health days, and personal obligation days plus flexible work schedules
  • Competitive retirement matching plans
