What’s the role?
As Senior Motion Graphics Designer at Bilt Rewards, you will be the creative force behind the motion language that defines our brand across every video touchpoint. You'll concept and craft high-quality motion graphics and animation — from product education and campaign content to paid social and brand storytelling — while building the systems and templates that allow our wider team to produce great work at scale. Bilt is developing industry-redefining products, and in this role, you will have the opportunity to elevate our visual brand.
We move fast, priorities shift, and the bar stays high. The right candidate doesn't just adapt to a fast-paced environment — they thrive in it. You'll bring a strong point of view, a meticulous eye for craft, and the operational instincts to keep projects moving without sacrificing quality.
In this role, you will…
- Concept and produce high-quality motion graphics and animation across brand, marketing, paid social, and product channels — from initial style frames to final delivery
- Own the visual consistency of Bilt's motion language, ensuring our brand shows up with clarity and polish whether you're leading a project or supporting another editor
- Translate complex product features and concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives that resonate with a broad audience
- Evolve and maintain our motion guidelines, building self-serve templates and reusable asset libraries that empower the broader production team to move quickly without losing brand fidelity
- Develop and refine post-production workflows that reduce friction and keep projects on track under tight timelines
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams to translate briefs into compelling visual executions — and contribute a strong visual POV early in the concepting process
- Own QC and finishing across all deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and consistent application of branded motion elements.
- Stay ahead of motion design trends and proactively bring ideas that push Bilt's visual identity forward
In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:
- 7+ years of professional motion graphics experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates range, brand fluency, and a sharp attention to detail
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender, Figma; strong working knowledge across the broader Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep command of design fundamentals — typography, color theory, composition — and a sophisticated sense of how they translate into motion
- Proven experience building scalable motion templates and asset systems for use across a team
- Strong project management instincts — organized, communicative, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams at once
- A collaborative, low-ego mindset with the adaptability to take last-minute pivots in stride
- A growth-oriented attitude and genuine comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Nice to have: Video editing experience in Adobe Premiere
- Nice to have: Background in fintech, product marketing, or educational content

At Bilt Rewards, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt’s salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.
We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.
Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.
The salary range for a Senior Motion Designer is $100,000 - 130,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
