About the Role

Fortegra is seeking an AI-forward Senior Performance Marketing Specialist who leverages artificial intelligence as a core working tool to accelerate sales enablement, strengthen partner communications, and support revenue growth. Reporting to the Manager, Performance Marketing, this role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, sales enablement, and AI-enabled operations.

This individual will help shape how marketing leverages AI to scale sales support, streamline internal workflows, and elevate the quality and speed of business development resources. The role focuses on identifying opportunities to automate repetitive work, enhance messaging through AI-assisted research and writing, and build systems that make marketing resources easier for teams to access and deploy.

The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a curiosity for emerging AI tools that can meaningfully improve marketing and sales productivity while maintaining strong standards for data security, compliance, and responsible AI use. This role partners closely with sales leadership, underwriting, product teams, and marketing stakeholders to ensure Fortegra’s teams are equipped with clear messaging, scalable resources, and AI-enabled processes that support growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage AI-assisted sales enablement resources including proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and partner-facing marketing materials that support business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain reusable content libraries, prompt frameworks, and knowledge repositories that improve the speed and quality of future sales and marketing deliverables.
  • Partner with sales leadership and business line stakeholders to translate complex initiatives into clear, compelling partner communications and deal-supporting materials.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to streamline marketing, sales, and CRM workflows through AI-enabled tools and automation — evaluating friction points and recommending solutions that improve usability, efficiency, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of Fortegra’s AI strategy across marketing functions including lead generation, partner communications, and CRM optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative teams using AI-supported tools to accelerate the development of campaign assets, training materials, and partner-ready collateral.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and marketing tools, run structured pilots, and recommend solutions that can improve productivity, insight generation, or content quality.
  • Support SEO and AEO initiatives through AI-assisted research and content optimization; maintain website content and CMS updates tied to campaign initiatives and digital performance.

The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.  They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that an incumbent may be expected or asked to perform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, sales enablement, marketing operations, or performance marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating AI tools into marketing, research, content development, or workflow automation.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams and senior leadership in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, business-ready messaging.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing and sales technology systems.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, AI-assisted writing tools, and emerging productivity technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred.

Who You Are

You are an AI-native marketing professional who sees artificial intelligence as a core working partner rather than a novelty. You instinctively look for opportunities to automate repetitive work, improve clarity through AI-assisted insights, and build systems that make teams more effective.

You bring a growth mindset and entrepreneurial approach to marketing support, actively identifying ways to improve how marketing contributes to sales and partner success. You are comfortable working across teams, translating business needs into scalable marketing resources, and experimenting with new tools that can unlock efficiency and better outcomes.

You are curious, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to shape how AI enhances marketing and sales collaboration in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Additional Information

Full benefit package including medical, dental, life, vision, company paid short/long term disability, 401(k), tuition assistance and more.

The anticipated salary for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, based upon qualifications and experience.
